San Francisco Branding Photoshoot on Treasure Island | Allison & Shawn

This San Francisco fitness photoshoot happened because of my love for The Assembly, a fitness and wellness center for women. I joined as an official act of self-care after an injury that left me feeling like I wasn’t myself anymore. This is how I met Allison and Shawn. I quickly discovered that these two were some of my favorite fitness instructors. Their strength training classes, whoa! They will really get your body in shape.

We had talked about the idea of doing a fun photoshoot outside in San Francisco. We wanted to find a location that was fresh and new to their feed. After a deep dive into their Instagram content, we decided on Treasure Island. It had the perfect view of the city and range of environments for them to play around in.

Allision and Shawn wanted a variety of content for their social media that really captured their personalities. They are very serious about their passion for fitness and health. But also have a wild sense of humor! I wanted to showcase both in their portraits.

Finally, the day arrived, and I was so excited to spend a few hours with them! What we didn’t realize was that there was construction going on right on the section of the island that has the best view of the city. A photographer’s nightmare! It didn’t end up slowing us down. We were able to capture all the unique areas of this interesting island, and they now have content to last them a while.
