This San Francisco Mission headshots session was one of my favorites! There was so much to enjoy – succulents, beautiful walls, and Kate, one of my favorite fearless women. Kate was planning to speak at a conference and came to me looking for a few solid headshots. We ended up expanding it beyond her professional headshots to capture some fun lifestyle photos near her beautiful apartment in the San Francisco Mission area.

If you don’t already follow Kate, do it! She is one of the most active, open-hearted, and inclusive women I’ve ever met. We met years back when we both worked at Strava. Kate was, and still is, badass to work with, it’s pretty inspiring. It wasn’t long after she started that she was leading a team.

In the last year, she started a women’s group that comes together during each full moon. It’s a time for us to come together to connect and get everything off our chests. It’s truly inspiring to feel seen, heard, and understood. I’m so glad she chose me to help her with her portrait session. We had so much fun!

The most inspiring parts of the San Francisco Mission area are the beautiful and colorful walls. The plants and succulents you’ll find in front yards and near the park. It was an adventure!
