I'm Danielle and this is a space for me to share some client love, help you feel confident and hopefully make you feel less alone. So grab some pizza or whatever you love and curl up. Let's get cozy!
Take the quiz to find out!
Do you find yourself wondering how to get started with brand photoshoot planning? You feel held back by the millions of options. What are you even supposed to be doing? How do you find someone to help?
When I find myself in these situations, I usually remind myself to “Just Start.” Are you wondering, but how? I have a solution for you. Let’s get to brand photoshoot planning right now. Let’s just start!
First things first, you have to feel inspired, excited even. Are there 2-3 brands out there that you love? A brand you feel connected to?
Write them down. Then go look at their Instagram and Pinterest board. What trends do you notice? What images call out to you? Write that down as well.
From there, think about what style you are drawn to? Is it minimal or edgy? Do you like a lot of colors or a more classic look? If you aren’t sure, take this quiz to help discover your style.
Now is the fun part, simply start a private Pinterest board for planning your photo shoot. Use what you wrote down about the brand you are drawn to and your style as search terms on Pinterest.
Once you have a few items on there, Pinterest will help you discover more ideas that fit with the theme you have created. If you zero in on one post, then scroll down, you will see that Pinterest suggests others in that same category. If you want help getting started, I’ve created some inspiration boards based on different styles to get you started.
It’s helpful to take the quiz and define your style before diving in. Here is a link to my Pinterest boards for inspiration:

Now that you know what you like, what you want and feel inspired. It’s time to get down to business. This is the part where you find someone to help you execute your vision.
Whether you want to hire a photographer or do it yourself is up to you? If you want to do it yourself, I suggest taking a look at Praise Santos ebook “How to be your own Instagram Husband?”
If you want to hire a photographer, read this post about choosing the photographer that is right for you.
Either way, you’ve already started on the path and are ready for the next step. See that wasn’t so hard?
