This Interior Designer Brand Photoshoot for Cara Camille Interiors in an Oakland historic craftsman home with modern touches was a dream. We had so much fun creating this interior designer brand photoshoot to launch Cara’s social media presence and update her website.

My client Cara started her business to fully explore her passion for both interior design and history. She grounds herself in an appreciation for the past, yet always looking forward, with modern solutions for sophisticated living.

Our Big Goal

Like most of us solopreneurs Cara was looking for a plan to help her show up on social media, get her marketing materials looking legit and update her website images. She’s a quick learner and figured out fast that content creation is time consuming and takes precious hours away from doing what she loves.

Our goal was to get her a 90 day plan for social media, create content she is excited to post and get her marketing materials to a place where she feels proud to show them off.

A Fun Discovery

One of the central pieces to creating each client’s 90 day plan is brand themes. We had some time and space to brainstorm what felt authentic for her and what she felt passionate about talking about each week.

Since she was a history teacher with a love for historic architecture and design, we obviously ended up with history as her distinct theme. We brought in her favorite historical books as props to really display this theme in her brand.

The Result

The day couldn’t have been more fun! We had the fog on our side to really bring in the soft bright look we were going after and the location we chose fit her decorating style. My favorite part of this shoot was Cara’s joy and excitement at bringing her dream to life. I can’t wait to see her images and designs out in the wild!

(Side note, Cara and I went to high school together and hadn’t caught up since. We had way too much fun chatting about life updates.)
